Nick Hart, a young actor currently making his West End debut in WarHorse, talks about how he devised his ‘loverboy’ character for the play, SOLD, which won the Amnesty International Freedom of Expression Award at the Edinburgh Fringe.

Nick was inspired by the ‘My Dangerous Loverboy’ film and web project to look at how sex trafficking of young girls is happening in this country and he created a powerful ‘loverboy’ character to raise awareness of grooming and the ruthless betrayal of trust and love. SOLD was devised by students at the Central School of Speech and Drama and directed by Catherine Alexander, Associate Director for Complicite.
